Having a baby is God’s greatest gift to man. We are obliged to love and cherish them, we must give them the emotional and physical warmth they deserve. We do not all have those expensive cots and baby blankets to keep the warm but God has provided with our own body temperature, this method of keeping the baby warm is called “KANGAROO MOTHER CARE” like this mother we can keep our babies warm by putting them against our bodies during the day and when we go to sleep. A mothers body temperature is 37.2 degrees, high enough to warm the baby and keep the baby close to the breast to feed whenever he/she wants to.
In our hospital we keep babies warm in incubators which have their temperatures controlled to suit the baby’s best metabolic and physiological function. See this ventilators with babies well incubated to the best of their physiological function.
